So I've begun recording my early morning writing/playing sessions while I'm watching my little one. The collection is affectionately called the "Dolly Sessions." If you're listening to this, it's because you are a friend.

I wrote this song the day after Dad died. Since he left the earth, I've definitely been struggling with a balance I once had (or at least thought I had). My relationship with Dad was a extremely dynamic one. Tears, laughter, pain, joy. There was a lot of struggle in his life passed on to his family. I just figured that struggle would go away once he died.

He was my biggest fan. My music wouldn't be what it is without him.
